Resume

In the United States and much of private-sector hiring, a resume is one or two pages. It is tailored to a role and leads with relevant experience.

CV

Curriculum vitae is the usual name in much of Europe, academia, and research. It can run longer and list publications or teaching. In some countries “CV” simply means resume.

What FIXTET actually builds

Does FIXTET make a different file for CV vs resume?
No. You write one document. The heading, length, and template are your choice. The export is still a real-text PDF.
Should I put Resume and CV in the filename?
Match local language. US roles usually expect “Resume”. Many UK and EU roles expect “CV”.
